Hipsco to launch online conveyancing portal

Hipsco the home information pack (hip) specialist is about to launch Hipsco Relay, an online portal to enable estate agents and other property professionals to instruct solicitors and licensed conveyancers remotely via their web site.

The new facility will offer 24/7 tracking of cases, 365 days a year, it will also provide a useful SMS and email messaging facility, this will help the end user to be better informed of the progress of their case.

James Wilson, IT director says: “ with technology playing such an important role in the housing market, we felt the time was right to launch our online conveyancing service.

“We have recently launched a well received home information pack service, so we felt it is a natural progression to offer the hipsco Relay system ahead of the hips introduction in 2007.

Wilson went on to say: “we are actively looking for local solicitors to act as our agents and would encourage registration via our website to any interested parties.
