Veriphy to provide HIPs checks for Hipsco

Veriphy has been chosen as the data provider of choice for home information pack (HIP) company Hipsco.

Veriphy, based in Newcastle, will provide Hipsco, with money laundering checks for clients every time a HIP is ordered.

This partnership will enable estate agents to ensure that all their new clients are subject to money laundering checks with the results being retained by the estate agent.

Hipsco managing director, Richard Richmond said, it decided that with the new regulations coming into force in December, it would help its HIP customers as much as possible. He added: “Veriphy is an ideal solution as it is fully integrated into our system and fully compliant with the regulations.”

Veriphy is an online platform from which users can access a number of services including money laundering checks, automated property valuations and Land Registry title information.
