AHIPP welcomes SAVA reassurance

The Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP) has welcomed SAVA's statement that enough qualified assessors will be trained in time to deliver Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
Mike Ockenden, director general of AHIPP, said: “The latest figures released by SAVA, the UK’s largest training and assessment centre for Home Inspectors and Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs), provide a clear indication that there will be a sufficient number of DEAs and Home Inspectors to meet demand when Home Information Packs (HIPs) become mandatory in June.
“SAVA has also offered reassurance that there will be work and assistance for those who have invested in their new training. Now it’s time to face facts - HIPs will happen on 1 June and we will be ready.”
