Hips to be delayed until 1st August 2007
Home Information Packs will be delayed until August mainly to allow for further Energy Assessors to be accredited, Ruth Kelly, Communities Secretary told MPs Today
The packs which were due to be introduced from the 1st June 2007, will now be introduced on the 1st August 2007 but will be phased in and only apply initially to properties with 4 bedrooms and above.
She also states that sellers would only have to commission a pack, rather than have a completed one, before marketing their property. |
