Hipsco appoints Managing Director

Richard Richmond has been appointed as managing director of Hipsco, Richard, 40, who formerly held a non-executive role at Hipsco will take over the position with immediate effect.

Richard who recently left his role as marketing director of Prestbury Financial Ltd a wholly owned subsidiary of Prestbury Holding plc to concentrate on Hipsco says: “I’m very excited about the forthcoming opportunities the home information pack market has to offer and feel Hipsco is well positioned in the market place to become a major player.

Richard, who prior to his recent position with Prestbury acted as Managing Director of Blue Pearl (uk) Ltd, a national mortgage network went on to say: “having gone through the upheaval of new regulation by the FSA in the mortgage industry, I’m well aware of the potential problems that can come from the introduction of any new legislation, I intend to use my 15 years experience both in the housing and financial services markets to create as smooth a transition into home information packs as possible.
